Fed Govt restructures NCAA directorates
The Federal Government on restructured four directorates at the Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA).
Part of the fall out of the restructuring is the merger of some directorates and the easing out of officers who were hitherto in charge.
Sources close to the Ministry of Aviation said the decision was reached after an emergency meeting in Abuja with Hadi Sirika, after which letters were handed over to the affected officials.
Sources said the Director of the Consumer Protection Directorate (CPD), Adamu Abdullahi turned in his resignation letter, which was accepted by the minister.
The Nation learnt that the CPD has been merged with the Directorate of Air Traffic Regulation ( DATR) which is now headed by Oyo-Ita as Director.
Also, the Directorate of General Aviation has been merged with Directorate of Air Worthiness Standards ( DAWS) . The Directorate of Operations and Training has also been merged with Directorate of Licensing Standards. The Directorates of Human Resources and Administration as well as Finance and Accounts were not affected.
